What currency are your prices in?
All prices are in US dollars.

Do I need to pay sales tax?
Michigan residents will be charged a 6% sales tax on their order. All other orders will not be charged sales tax.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Paypal payments and credit cards from Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express through the Paypal website. We also accept money orders - please follow the instructions at checkout to properly address money orders.

We accept concealed cash rounded to the nearest dollar (don't send coins!) through the mail - just select the money order option. We can only accept cash in US dollars at this time.

I don't have a Paypal account - how can I pay with a credit card?
Yes, you can pay through Paypal without an account! You don't need to sign up for Paypal. Just select the Paypal/Echeck/Credit Card payment option during checkout. Once you confirm your order, you'll be sent to the Paypal website. Click on "Pay with Credit or Debit Card" and enter your payment information. If you have any trouble with checkout, don't hesitate to contact us.

Can I use a prepaid credit card? Many brands of prepaid credit cards are not accepted by our payment processor. If you'd like to try to use a prepaid card, be sure that your billing address is registered to the card.

How do you protect my privacy?
We do not share any customer information, including name, address, email, or phone number, with any third parties. Credit card payments are processed securely through the Paypal website. Your credit card information is never entered or stored on our website, and all registration information is entered through an encrypted SSL connection.

Why is there an order in my account history when I didn't complete my order? Are you going to charge me?
If you go partially through checkout, your incomplete order may be saved to the system. Incomplete orders will have an "Awaiting Payment Confirmation" status and will be deleted after a few days if there is no payment associated with the order. We will not charge you for duplicate orders that say "Awaiting Payment Confirmation". (Since our payments go through Paypal, it's actually impossible for us to charge you without your authorization!)

If your order has this status and you completed payment, your order is simply waiting for one of us to manually verify your payment and update your order status - just allow at least 12 hours for your order to change to a new status. If your order does not update within 24 hours, please contact us.

How will you ship my order?
We ship by US Post Office to both US and international destinations. You can view shipping options when you check out.

When will my order ship out?
All of our items are custom-made at the time of order. This allows us to offer a wide range of sizes, colors, and designs at affordable prices. It usually takes around 3-5 business days for your order to be made and shipped out to you. You can log into your account at any time to check the status of your order.

If you have a deadline or need expedited shipping, let us know before ordering so we can work with you to get your order on time. Please keep in mind that some orders may still require 2-4 business days production time before they can be shipped out.

How long does shipping take?
You can see shipping options and estimated transit times when you check out. (Note that transit times do not include production time explained above.) For US customers, shipping usually takes 3-6 business days from the date of mailing.

For non-US customers, shipping can take anywhere from 2 to 5 weeks from the date of mailing for Priority or First Class shipping. For fastest shipping outside the US, select Express Mail.

Will you ship to my country?
Our store is currently set up to receive orders from the United States, Canada, Australia, most of Europe, and many more countries around the world. If you cannot check out with your particular country, please contact us to see if it's possible to ship to your country.

Do I need to pay customs fees?
Some countries may charge duties or taxes for packages received from abroad. Since it's impossible for us to keep track of customs laws in all countries, please check with your local post office or customs office for what duties or customs fees may apply. We are not responsible for any additional taxes or fees your country may charge to deliver your package. Your local post office may hold your package if taxes or customs charges are due, and send a postcard to your address with further instructions.

Do you accept returns?
To keep our prices low, all of our items are custom-made to order - this means your items are made especially for you! We may not be able to accept returns on all items. So it's important that you consult our sizing charts either here (for babydolls or regular mens t-shirts), or on the item listing for all other items, before ordering to be sure you are ordering the size and style that best fits you, or contact us with any questions! We are happy to give you extra details about any item via email if you need it! ^_^

If you received a defective item or there was an error with your order, please contact us within 3 days of receiving your order so we can make it right. Any returns or claims for defects must be returned to us within 10 days of receiving your order.

Any returns or exchanges will be awarded as store credit. Sorry, but we cannot give cash refunds for any returned items.

We cannot accept any items returned to us without prior authorization. Email us first! Remember we also can't accept used items for return, including items with odors (this includes perfumes and fabric fresheners!)

Can I request a special size or style of shirt?
Definitely! We can special order youth size shirts. We can also print most designs on a babydoll, tank top, messenger, hoodie, or tote bag by request if you don't see that particular design on the item you want. Just contact us before ordering if you'd like a special size or style.

Can I get a t-shirt in a different color than the ones you have listed?
We can print any of our own designs on a different color if it's a color we have available. Just send us an email to find out if it's possible.

Will you sell some of my designs in your store?
Sorry, but we are not taking submissions from other artists at the moment.

You can subscribe to our newsletter by signing up for an account and opting in to our newsletter. You can also follow us on Twitter or on Facebook for social network updates.

Can I tell all my friends about your site?
Go ahead! As a small indie business, we love it when people get excited about our stuff. ^_^

We started Gesshoku Designs in January of 2007 with a vision to make t-shirts, pins, and other accessories that suited our own weird and random tastes. Equipped with our love for Japanese culture, Jrock, and the kawaii aesthetic, and our personal attachment to the yuri, yaoi, and lesbian & gay communities, we try to provide you with unique stuff, from one fan to another. ^_^
